Student Interview
If a student is unavailable to attend an introductory workshop, after receiving the registration form, the teachers will contact the student for a phone interview. We are interested in accepting students who have the drive, passion and dedication filmmaking requires. We will ask you what you would like to achieve through this training and how we can collaborate on reaching your goals as a young actor or filmmaker.
Parent Phone Conference (for students under 18)
Once a student has decided to commit to one of our programs, the next step will be phone interview with a parent to go over any questions we might have for each other.
To be accepted into the program it is very important the student have strong family support. This is a competitive program which demands a lot of energy and focus from the students. We strive to be considerate towards our students’ time, and do not to add to their homework load. We also schedule closely with EACH drama teacher at the local high schools of the Monterey Peninsula as to not create any conflicts with the current theatre productions. We require our students to maintain a GPA of 3.0 and above.
