AN OVERVIEW: How Students benefit
The Adobe Youth Voices Film Camp allows participants to engage in the process of creative video production through collaborative teams consisting of students, mentors and industry professionals. Driven by the passion to address community issues and to communicate positive messages through media, participants will select specific topics and film genres as the foundation of their creative video projects. Throughout the course of six weeks, each team will be provided with instruction and guidance from storytelling and production mentors, while being supplied with the necessary equipment and software to produce high quality media. Through this film camp, participants will be able to experience the full cycle of professional media production and the necessary planning, teamwork, innovation and creativity needed for a successful project. Upon completion, participants will be inspired and excited to explore new ways to utilize and apply media and software to make a meaningful change among their communities, peers and generation. Participants leave the film camp with new media making skills and more confident in their ability to make positive change in their community and the world.

“We believe creativity is a critical skill that can positively shape our future leaders. After going through the AYV program, our research shows that 88% of students feel confident about their ability to ideate, collaborate, adapt and express their point of view, and persist through challenges. 95% believe that creativity is important to their future success. We are proud to be able to support these students as they work to create positive change in the world.” Adobe Youth Voices Overview
